“Faithful to the End: Finishing Well Even When the Journey Is Hard”

As we come to the final portion of Bereshit we read about the deaths of Jacob and Joseph. In the haftarah we read about the death of David. In each of these stories of the end of their lives we can learn lessons on how they lived faithfully to the end, and how we can "run the race with endurance" (Hebrews 12:1) and finish well as they each did.
