As we continue with our series on the Haftarot of Consolation, this week Isaiah reminds us that God's comfort toward Israel (and to us) isn't meant to leave them where they are. The message to Israel then, and to us now, is that it is time to wake up, overcome fear, "shake off the dust", remember who we are, and walk in the purpose God has for us.
