In this week’s Torah Portion Parshat Ki Teitzei we read “You are not to muzzle the ox while it is threshing.” (Deuteronomy 25:4). Most recognize an ox without muzzle can participate in the fruit of its own labor, and this is a good thing. But many stop here and fail to dig deeper. We will look at these biblical principles regarding the ox, and how they apply to biblical evangelism, preaching and teaching. Correctly understanding God's Word is a prerequisite for any effective discipleship.
