After establishing the importance of God's house, which was built with "living stones" (us), Peter now describes what the order in His house is to look like. We know that God is a God of order, and where His order is there is peace. This order is based on submission, a concept that is often misunderstood. Let's take a look at how this fits in with the overall theme of overcoming trials and difficulties.
